Write a Summary in Your LinkedIn Profile

Write a detailed Summary which includes important keywords and phrases. It will increase your visibility when others conduct searches.

The Summary is your introduction to the reader. Take advantage of the opportunity to explain who you are, as clearly and concisely as possible.  Include the most important experience, skills, accomplishments, etc., just as you would on your resume.

Include technical information to help someone find you.  You may not realize, but recruiters, hiring managers, and others are searching through LinkedIn, usually using keyword searches.
