I help my clients identify their career goals, learn how to build mutually beneficial relationships and find the job/career they are looking for!

I am a Career Specialist with 28+ years highly successful experience in career coaching and outplacement, professional recruiting, workshop and webinar development and delivery, corporate Human Resources, career and job search tools creation, and social media.

My unique approach is based on my real-life, practical experience – I integrate real examples from my thousands of clients to go far beyond the theory that other coaches and outplacement consultants rely upon.  For example, my networking expertise is built on the success I achieved developing a large and diverse client base as an executive recruiter, during which time I established and maintained relationships with clients lasting 10, 15, 20 or more years.

I continue to grow my LinkedIn network of more than 1300 direct connections and a total of 9+ million.  I also now have a Facebook network of more than 350 Friends, and a growing Twitter following.

I wrote a 75 page comprehensive Career Transition Manual for Countrywide Financial that was provided to thousands of employees when they were laid off by the company.  I have developed and delivered hundreds of workshops, webinars and presentations in career development, employee retention, job search, networking, LinkedIn and more to groups ranging from 2 to 100+ attendees.  I also have written guides for using LinkedIn and Facebook.

If you are interested in coaching for career change or job search, resume preparation, networking, proactive interviewing and using social media for networking, business development and job search, please contact me for a free initial consultation.  I can be reached by phone at (818) 577-1347 and e-mail at scfried@aol.com.

Stuart,

I find your blogsite very informative and will sign up for your posts. I do have one question, however: why was your name so hard to find here? I would think that it is important to have your name prominently displayed so as to encourage contacts. I did find it…to be sure…but it was not an obvious thing.

Just curious!
